Traditions of the Whiterose Pack are slightly related to those of the Native Tribe Talulla was raised in.
Here is a list of all traditions and their discriptions.
Coming of Age Ceremony & Celebration:
When a Pup graduates from his training with one of the Assassins for any rank, He/She will go though a coming of age ceremony. Within the ceremony, the pup will be dubed with an official rank and status. It will be explained that they now has importance within the pack, and that their peers rely on them to complete their tasks without mistake. After the formal affairs, there will be a feast and celebration in the middle of the densite.
Mating Traditions & Ceremony:
When a male is intrested in a female, He is to approach her with a gift of whatever he sees fit to present her with. He can do this as many times as he would like, however if the desired female refuses his gift, they cannot be mates. If the desired female DOES accept the gift there will be a Ceremony of matraiony in which the Alpha(s) recognize them as a Mate Pair fit to have Pups.
Anklai's Antlers
When a hunter of the Pack has killed with a vallant stroke, or If a hunter saves an innocent with a corageous effort they are allowed the first pickings to the very next kill and are presented with the honor of wearing the Antlers of Anklai (The most honorable legendary wolf who has lived to tell all of his daring tales. He wore the Antlers of his very first kill.) This wolf is to wear the Antlers for one month (1 real life week) if they choose to do so.
**To be presented Ankali's Antlers by one of the Alphas is seen as a GREAT honor**
Feathers of High Rank
Each Alpha wears two feathers behind their left ear to indicate to the other of the pack that they are the two in charge. It is a symbol of their power over the rest of the pack, and that they are to be respected.
The Alphas as a Mate Pair
Only the Alphas, because of their superiority over the others in the pack, are seen as more valuble. Therefore, they are the only two who have unlimited breeding rights. The Alphas will, however, choose one other Mate Pair that they see fit to have pups every mating season.
**This comming Mating Season begins: June 1st and lasts until June 7th.**
**During this time is when to ask permission from the Alpha(s)s to have pups**
Elders & Storytelling
The elders have lived though much, and there are many lessons the young ones can learn from their tales. The Pupmothers and the Birth Mothers are to take their pup to storytelling once every week (real-life day). If there are no elders in the pack, the pups can come to the High Preists/Medics themselves after being asked.
